I’m pretty sure I’m going to need a goat for this one

If you wake on the 26th of August and think to yourself, damn, I feel like checking out some new writers while listening to live music and nibbling on some tasty snacks, then I have just the place for you.

Verandah is the art and literature journal from Deakin University. They’re launching issue #27 as part of the Melbourne Writers’ Festival, at 11:30am in Federation Square.  One of the stories fell out of my pen, How beautiful it is, when everyone sings, and I couldn’t be happier to be included.

If you feel like more, I’ll send you in the direction of Jersey Devil Press. These quirky scribes recently pulled one of my stories from their archives, The first thing I’ll need is a goat. I can promise you snow, foot fetishes and a strange little Norwegian goat called Julbukk.

Sometimes, even I don’t quite know where these stories come from…
